Gathering Families has organized “Family Lights the World”, an event to celebrate the family and welcome the World Congress of Families to the United States. Our “Family Lights the World” event seeks to encourage families to focus their individual family home evening on how the family shines as an example to bring a much needed light to this struggling world. We would appreciate your help in spreading the word and encouraging families to participate in this monumental event – which happens to coincide with the 20th anniversary of the Family Proclamation!
Families, neighbors, community groups, etc. are invited to gather together to celebrate the family on the evening of Monday, October 26, 2015. At 7:30 P.M. (MST) we would invite all families to go outside and shine their light (flashlights, lanterns, beams, etc) into the night sky as a symbol of how their family brings light to the world.
